Feedme Guru is a new app for searching the best 600 restaurants in town

Feedme Guru is a new app for searching the best 600 restaurants in town

Today, I have a long chat with the co-founder of FeedMe Guru. I am impressed by one of their goals, which is ‘Replacing Tripadvisor’.

FeedMe Guru

FeedMe Guru is an app for foodies who are searching for the best restaurants in town. Different from other platforms like Tripadvisor, Yelp or Openrice, which are based on user generated content, FeedMe Guru uses their own technology engine to crawl for professional reviews, then analyzes them and shortlists the best 600 restaurants for us.

Targeting young professionals, most of the restaurants you can find are mid-to-high-end restaurants. One additional feature is that you can book directly on the app, without making a phone call.

Try Now

If you think that the reviews on other platforms are not reliable, you can try this app. FeedMe Guru is now available on iOS, Android and Web.

Sous Vide with Anova Precision Cooker

Sous Vide with Anova Precision Cooker

Sous Vide – Level Up

It’s time to bring my cooking technique to the next level – Sous Vide. I believe, with the right equipment, I can easily do that.

Anova Precision Cooker is the right equipment I am talking about. I have done some research about ‘slow cook’ for a couple of months. After reading many customer feedbacks and blog posts, I decided to buy it when Anova launched Hong Kong Spring Sale.

Using the device for a few days, I can now share some features that I like most.

Anova App
I can use Wi-Fi or Bluetooth to connect your device to set the temperature and the time I want to cook. can even monitor them in real time.

I can use the device anywhere I want (as long as there is a plug nearby). This is a great benefit for those who do not have enough space in their kitchen.

Community Support
There is an unofficial Facebook Group with thousands of Anova users sharing recipes and best practices. If you have questions, just post it in the group and you can get your answer quickly.

Let me use the device for a few weeks more and I will share some of my recipes here.

P.S. If you have any tip about sous vide, please share with me. Many Thanks!
