Free training and Certification from HubSpot Academy

HubSpot Academy

If you are a digital marketer or entrepreneur, chances are you already heard of HubSpot or even using one of their products. Whether you are a HubSpot’s customer or not, you can now enjoy free training from marketing professionals and industry leaders on HubSpot Academy. If you finish the courses and pass the exams, you can even claim a certificate and embed on your website.

There are 3 courses on HubSpot Academy which are free and open to the public. I have taken all of them and passed the exams.

Inbound Certification

It includes 12 classes that span the four stages of the Inbound Methodology. I always prefer inbound marketing to outbound marketing. After this course, my belief is strengthened and backed up by a bunch of findings and theories. I have learnt how to better attract strangers, convert visitors, close leads and delight customers.

Inbound Sales Certification

It includes 5 classes that introduce you to the Inbound Sales Methodology. There is a systematic way to better identify, connect, explore, and advise today’s empowered buyers. I have learnt how to personalize the entire sales experience in a buyer-centric approach.

Email Marketing Certification

It includes 9 classes that introduce you to using email marketing as a sustainable channel to close leads and delight customers. This course allows me to take a step back from Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor and learn how lifecycle marketing, segmentation, email design, deliverability, analytics, and optimization come together to create an email marketing strategy that grows my business.

HubSpot Blog

Not ready for a course yet? HubSpot Blog is one of my favourite sales & marketing blogs where I learn practical marketing strategies and best practices from successful digital agencies.

Certification is just a bonus

Remember, ‘Certificate’ is not your main purpose to take these courses. It’s just a bonus or a little proof to show your boss or clients that you know something about marketing. After all, gaining industry insights and building a good foundation of sales & marketing knowledge are your major goals to spend hours taking these courses.
